Crew Lead - Landscaping

Wage: $23.00 to $27.00
(Depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and oversee landscaping crews to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure proper and safe use of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with management and crew members to ensure alignment on tasks, priorities, and expectations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control.
- Complete and maintain accurate daily logs of work completed.
- Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and workplace procedures.
Landscaping Duties
- Lawn Care: Mowing, edging, trimming, and maintaining beautiful green spaces.
- Gardening & Landscaping: Planting flowers, weed control, fertilizing, and mulching.
- Yard Clean-Ups: Ensuring properties are neat and free of debris.
- Equipment Operation: Safely using small tools and landscape equipment (lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of landscaping experience required, with leadership or supervisory experience.
- Valid G2 or G driver’s license (clean record) is a MUST.
- Ability to drive a truck with an equipment trailer attached.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, equipment operation, and best practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on-site.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold, humidity, and sometimes rain.
Ability to walk, stand, or crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Willing and able to work varied and long shifts (full-time hours).
Wearing proper personal protective equipment at all times.
