Heavy Vehicle Operator
Responsibilities
- Focus on safety and be able to complete a proper pre-trip inspection.
- Safety conscious on the road and on construction sites.
- Able to follow directions and instructions from multiple people
(dispatch, foreman, lead drivers, equipment operators, etc). - Snow hauling in the winter months.
- Keep the truck neat and tidy, both inside and out.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario D-Z License
- Clean driving abstract
- Knowledge of commercial trucking and highway traffic regulations
- At least 3 years of experience driving a tri-axle Dump Truck
- Mechanical knowledge of how a truck operates is an asset
