Wage: $25.00 - $32.00 (Depending on experience)
If you enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a supportive, hard-working team, this is the job for you! Our Snow Removal Team plays a vital role in keeping our sites safe and accessible for customers throughout the winter season.
We’re currently seeking experienced and reliable Snow Equipment Operators to join our winter crew and help keep our lots clear and safe. We have positions in Kanata and Orleans available.
Positions Available
- Tractor Operators (L6060)
- Loader Operators
- Pickup Truck Operators (with plow)
- Sidewalk Rear-Steer Operators
Schedule & Availability
- This is a weather-dependent, call-in position
- You will be assigned a 12-hour availability window (Monday to Sunday), during which you must be ready for call-ins.
- For example, if your schedule window is 12 AM to 12 PM and snow needs to be cleared during that time, you will be called in to work.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold, snow and rain.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Willing and able to work varied and long shifts.
Wearing proper personal protective equipment at all times.
Additonal Requirements
Clean and Valid G Driver's License
Min 8 inch Steel-Toed Boots
Personal Transportation To And From The Shop (Kanata or Orleans)
Key Responsibilities
- Be available for all scheduled 12-hour windows (Monday to Sunday).
- Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Work safely and efficiently in varying winter conditions
- Operate assigned snow equipment (tractor, loader, rear-steer or pickup with plow) with care.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a working cellphone for call-ins.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience operating snow equipment (tractor, loader, rear-steer, or pickup with plow).
- Strong work ethic, motivation, and attention to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- No minimum education required.
